Five
years ago today TechTV Inc. merged with G4 Media. The merger abolished
all of TechTV's programming and broke up its talent pool. In the
postceding months, I collected all of the TechTV media I could before
it was lost forever. I am pulling out this archive again to share with
you all. I have combined all previous torrent releases, removed
duplicate files, and changed the torrent tracker (The Bulk TechTV
Torrent's previous tracker went out of service several months ago).

3 years ago today was the beginning of the end for TechTV. The end came a week later with the merger of G4TV and TechTV. Because of this and consequences beyond our control, today a good day to end development of the Bulk TechTV Torrent.
We will continue to maintain and seed current releases 1 and 1.1.

I made an interesting find recently. Among an ocean of bits in a donated defective HDD, I salvaged a 2003 TSS episode. This HDD is like an archeological dig, exciting stuff may immerge.

It appears the sladinki007 TechTV community has a new home: http://www.ukb-kvcd.com/forums/index.php?showforum=98 . Registration is diffucult, i think they have spam problems. Sladinki007.net will keep tracking Bulk TechTV Torrent and its patch for now.
Wow, i need to hurry up and complete Release 2 before anything else happens. Last chance to submit videos!

Bulk TechTV's tracker is going offline tomorrow... for good. The tracker and the TechTV Community at www.sladinki007.net will be severely downsized Febuary 1st, so I will bring the Bulk TechTV Torrent forum back online. Maybe the community will survive the transition.

Happy new year. I've removed the link to bulk techtv forum and left a link to the orginal community that helped start the bulk techtv torrent. That is the current portal to all things Bulk TechTV Torrent related.

The Digg Effect strikes and saves the day!
I found a spike in visits (1,337 page visits) and 170+ peers downloading the Bulk TechTV Torrent. There must be news about the project somewhere; the "digg effect" perhaps?
It appears the spike occurred on December 20th. I created a thead about it in the forum.

Fixed a tracking problem with Patch 1.1. It's tracker now recognizes it.

Development on Release 2 has slowed. Now, things are quiet enough to start asking for more TechTV content. Email us at bulktechtvtorrent@gmail.com if you would like to contribute. Video files, DVDs, VHS tapes, website cashe, we can accept many formats.
There will be a Release 2 someday. Until then, enjoy Release 1 and Patch 1.1.

Release 2 isn't ready, but a patch 1.1 is. This torrent includes videos, images, and audio collected since Release 1 (April 11th, 2006). This release is easy to, "paste" on top of Release 1. Just direct your BT client to download Patch 1.1 to Release 1's directory.
All of Patch 1.1, Release 1, and new material will all be merged later this year creating Release 2.

We are still waiting for a few more episodes to trickle in before Release 2 starts. It wont be too much longer.

Release 2 is right around the corner (well, about 30 days away actually). So far, it's going to include more TSS from January 2004 through April 2004, a TechTV special on JAKE 2.0, another Conspiracies episode, several Big Thinkers episodes, and hundreds more clips and images.

Here it is, after 2 months the first installment is ready. Be sure to tell your friends. It's huge, 43.8GB! It contains over 300 videos of various TechTV/G4TechTV shows including: The Screen Savers, Call for Help, X-play, Unscrewed, AudioFile, Big Thinkers, Conspiracies, CyberCrime, Extended Play, Eye Drops, FreshGear, GameSpot TV, Internet Tonight, Max Headroom, Silicon Spin, Tech Live, Thunderbirds, and some really old ZDTV shows.
